Flamey suggested we do the award polls, which is like Best Clan, Best Staff Member, etc. etc., along with the CPC. For those who don't know the point of the CPC, it's done so we can see which cats to put where when the leader switch comes, though I don't plan on bringing back the deputies just yet, considering how few active members we actually have. To Jay, Flamey, and anyone else who is active (you know who you are), I appreciate it, it's you guys that have kept everything going so far. With that said, I recommend advertising, find sites that have maybe between 50 and 150 members with a lot of active members and post our advertise (which can be found here Advertise) on said site, make sure that they don't already have our advertisement though ;) ~Squid. Current Plot

With the fourth full moon of the year, leaf bare has officially ended, and the residents of the forest enter the period that is supposed to be rainy and stormy enough to replenish nature, and their sacred prey. Weeks seem to go by with little rain and trees still completely bare. Prey is becoming more scarce with each passing day. The elders and medicine cats agree that it appears to be a Winter Drought. The clans are already weakened as it is from the harsh winter, and many are beginning to die of starvation. Tempers are hostile, even in the clans with reputations for being friendly. To make matters worse, the clans seemed to have lost touch with DreamClan, medicine cats have not reported any dreams or signs from them since the beginning of the drought. Almost every clan with the exception of BeachClan, who are known for being extremely religious, have cats who are beginning to doubt that DreamClan really exist. Afterall, what ancestors would allow their kin to starve to death? RageClan have completely denied DreamClan, though their medicine cats are fighting to change the minds of their confused clanmates. Cats are dying each and every day of starvation, and some are going to desperate measures to get food. It has even been reported that a BoulderClan cat killed and ate an IceClan apprentice. The clans seem to be going crazy, and the few that still have their heads about them can only ask why. If this drought doesn't end soon, and the everglowing sun doesn't subside what will become of the clans?

About the Clans
The ten clans are AshClan, BlazeClan, IceClan, RageClan, BoulderClan, BeachClan, FernClan, MeadowClan, DuneClan and FogClan. AshClan cats are known for loyalty in particular. BlazeClan cats are friendly, but perhaps too friendly with the other clans? IceClan cats are clever and quick witted, and never miss a thing. The evil clan is RageClan, who’s hearts are cold and crusted over with hate. BoulderClan are daring and confident, and never turn down a challenge. BeachClan, religious and rule abiding, DreamClan is always the basis of their everyday life. Quiet and reserved in dense forests lurk the FernClan cats, known for their fierce battle skills. MeadowClan lie just across the border, swift and caring, but known to not think before decision making. Secrets are buried in the sands of DuneClan, who are by far the most secretive and conservative in nature. FogClan are hardy and sly, and often use clever tricks to capture their prey and in battle. Lastly DreamClan, the fallen warrior ancestors who watch over the clan cats every move, and prophesize the events to come.

Background:
Ten Clans of the Forest, otherwise known fondly as TCOTF, was created by Featherstep on September 4th, 2006. It is one year old and has over 200 members. Our administrative team currently consists of six friendly and warrior loving staff members. Staff opportunities are offered often to members of TCOTF, so stay a while, prove your activity, and a position could be waiting for you. The RP difficulty is Easy-Literate, we have members who RP on all levels. The site’s staff is extremely well put together. Bios are always accepted, we have no spammers or impersonators, seeing as they are banned almost immediately, all members are friendly and kind. Why should you join TCOTF? [From Current Members]

Feathy- TCOTF is just all around active. You don’t see many warrior sites that actually stay active these days. Also, with a larger amount of clans, there is a larger chance that you will get a high position such as leader, deputy and medicine cat. Guess what? We also allow deserving members to have multiple high spots and hold the position for more than one term!

Amber- I joined TCOTF a while ago and love it. Its an overall great site, with helpful admin including myself, nice members and good roleplaying. We may not have the 200 active members we once had, but we're aiming to. So join TCOTF - what are you waiting for? The fun awaits!

Ember- TCOTF is a very well managed site. There are many attentive admin that work very hard to make sure that the site is fun for all members. We welcome RPers of any level, and there are always many exciting RPs taking place everyday.
