October 19, 2009- Alright guys, so I'm really trying to pull this place back together, which is why I need everyone to pitch in. Flamey suggested we do the award polls, which is like Best Clan, Best Staff Member, etc. etc., along with the CPC. For those who don't know the point of the CPC, it's done so we can see which cats to put where when the leader switch comes, though I don't plan on bringing back the deputies just yet, considering how few active members we actually have. To Jay, Flamey, and anyone else who is active (you know who you are), I appreciate it, it's you guys that have kept everything going so far. With that said, I recommend advertising, find sites that have maybe between 50 and 150 members with a lot of active members and post our advertise (which can be found here Advertise) on said site, make sure that they don't already have our advertisement though ;)

Disloyalty. It was the epitome of it. But what did Lucidhope have to lose? Her brother had slid his way up into the ranks of leader of RageClan, with impure intentions, she was certain of it, and for once, there was nothing the femme could do. Knowing that at this very moment, he would be perched atop the little knoll at the top of camp, adressing the other RageClanners, she had quietly removed herself from camp, and had gotten to wandering aimlessly, afraid to return. Would Tranquilstar have her exiled upon her return? It was something she didn't want to think aboutt; something she couldn't decipher even if she tried.

Here she stood, in a place infested by Kittypets and Twolegs, giving him another reason to prove that she was corrupt. The femme's heart felt heavy and sore with recent loss as well as past burdens. A tiny breeze brushing under her flame-colored pelt reminded her of the open, yet arid plateaus where she had grown up. Furrowing her brow, it occurred to her that she may never be able to go back. She felt bad for the poor pathetic little breeze, trapped in a maze of horrid smelling Twoleg nests and Monster Paths, never able to reach its full potential because of unnatural obstacles. This same feeling she pretained to herself.

Her poor brother, plagued by power and his eyes clouded to others sympathies, she was sure his rule would be a ruthless and horrible time for the Clan. Her poor unborn kits, their whole lives would be torn because of her own poor decisions. Lucidhope was never one to feel this way, she knew it. This was not her. Inhaling the tainted air sharply, she exhaled slowly a moment later. She knew now more than ever, her outgoing, optomistic outlook would be much more beneficial to the situation at hand. It was not a time to feel sorry for herself or others.

The femme settled down quietly in front of a narrow ally, her whiskers twitching as she sensed another cat coming nearer. In a split second, she made her decision. "Siren," she blinked into midnight, keeping her aqua gaze stationary. A large, built yellow tom stepped from behind a reeking metal garbage can. "Lucid," he purred subtly, his tail raising with interest. "It's Lucidhope, Siren," she corrected, observing his glowing green orbs as she watched them skim over her. The tom looked dissapointed. "So you've decided then..." his head bent low, as he settled next to the lithe femme, their pelts touching. "Yes, I have to go back to RageClan. Won't you come with me Siren?" Lucidhope longed. It would be ideal, her kits would know their father, and if Tranquilstar would allow them, which wasn't probable, then at least she could have the support of one cat. Siren opened his huge jowls to answer, "Lucid, you're not thinking, it'd be hard for our kits. I..." he trailed off. "Someone's listening!"

A furry white creature bounded forward towards them like the overgrown kit she was, stepping lightly as if dancing. "Hi!" she purred, flicking her fluffy tail and blinking her sea-blue eyes at them. As they were settled down cozily in the alley, Charity could meet another cat's gaze for once. The kittypet stretched her maw into a wry smile.
"Sorry I was eavedropping," she apologized, "But I couldn't help but notice you two." Dipping her head, the small adolescent twitched her whiskers as if in approval. She was staring at Lucidhope, and her gaze was filled with awe. "You're a forest - Clan - cat, right?" This entire incident had occured in a matter of moments, for Charity's step was quick and her tongue quicker.
