October 19, 2009- Alright guys, so I'm really trying to pull this place back together, which is why I need everyone to pitch in. Flamey suggested we do the award polls, which is like Best Clan, Best Staff Member, etc. etc., along with the CPC. For those who don't know the point of the CPC, it's done so we can see which cats to put where when the leader switch comes, though I don't plan on bringing back the deputies just yet, considering how few active members we actually have. To Jay, Flamey, and anyone else who is active (you know who you are), I appreciate it, it's you guys that have kept everything going so far. With that said, I recommend advertising, find sites that have maybe between 50 and 150 members with a lot of active members and post our advertise (which can be found here Advertise) on said site, make sure that they don't already have our advertisement though ;)

Swiftclaw's ice blue eyes glowed in the moonlight as she sat there, silently stalking a mouse. The soft marsh shifted under her paws making it hard to walk. The mouse scurried along, not noticing the silent but fast she-cat. Swiftclaw pounces, as quick as lightning it seemed like, she caught the mouse with her paws and soon had it in her mouth. Swiftclaw felt the blood rushing into her mouth as she ate the mouse. Being kicked out of her kitty pet house wasn't so bad. She had been a loner for five moons now and already came up with a name that goes with her old name, which was Swift by the way, and has accepted life as a loner. "Life is good when your free!" Swiftclaw recalled from when she was Swift, she was sitting on her fence when a clan cat came and said those exact words. "Well, that cat was right." Swiftclaw said to herself. But she felt just a little bit lonely.

OOC:Hope you don't mind,but I wanted to set my post up like it would be on the board for the uncharted territory,cuz otherwise,my kitty wouldn't be able to be here so,yeah. IC:Echowhisper was exhausted.She had been on two border patrols,a hunting patrol,AND helped train one of the apprentices while his mentor was sick.Echowhisper had come merely to relax.When she scented another cat,her fur bristled slightly.But,when she pushed her way through the bushes,she saw it was just a loner.She et her fur lie flat again and meowed,"Hello there.My name is Echowhisper.I'm from the ten clans that live beyond those bushes.I am a warrior of Fernclan."she couoldn't help but puff out her chest in pride as she talked of her clan.

Swiftclaw turned back and said "Oh.Hello there.I'm Swiftclaw.You are?" Swiftclaw started to walk in circles as if impatient for something. She thought to herself "Grrr.Now i'm never going to get onto her territory." Swiftclaw scented the air and hissed as something approached from the bushes. It was another patrol. This time they didn't look so friendly.

She reconized the scent of two cats coming through the bushes.She heard one of them mew something to the other,and then one left.Her heart nearly stopped as she reconized the scent of Flamepelt.Her forbidden love.From Blazeclan.He was there.Right then.As he stepped through the bushes,she couldn't help herself.For right then it didn't matter that the loner,Swiftclaw, was there.She galloped up to Flamepelt,nearly knocking him off his feet,and covered his face in licks.Then,she finally stepped back and mewed,"I've missed you so much." OOC:Thought that might add an enteresting twist.

Swiftclaw watched the two cats give affection to each other, her tail drooped down. Swiftclaw never had a mate and she wanted one badly. She hoped the two cats didn't see her act like this. For her first clan cat meeting, she didn't want her reputation to be sissy. "Oh well." Swiftclaw said to herself as she began to stalk off.

"Echowhisper!" Flamepelt returned her licks, just as affectionate. He had been on a border patrol when he happened to walk past the border, lost in thought. He had been surprised when he heared Echowhisper's familiar voice.

"Wait!"Echowhisper called to swiftclaw as she sat down on a soft patch of grass."Don't feel like you have to leave."Echowhisper turned back to Flamepelt."How's Blazekit?"she asked him.Pretty soon,her kits were going to be apprentices,and she wanted a play-by-play of the life of her kit."Flamepelt?"she asked,her voice full of uncertainty."When should we meet next?"she couldn't help but hope he said tonight,though she knew it wasn't completely safe yet.When he didn't answer emmediately,she considered batting her eye lashes or giving him a sorrowful stare,because she knew it would make him give in,or at least provoke him in the right direction.
