This small extent of a wooded area lies at the base of the volcano in AshClan. It is here that most of the hunting occurs. There is more prey here than in any other part of AshClan. However, there is one catch. The AshClan cats who hunt here must be trained in advance to hunt in the strong winds that originate on the volcano and end up whipping through the vegetation and undergrowth in the woods. Gusts are often strong enough to sweep away a small kit.
