In the deeper part of the forest, a large tree that has been half-hollowed out stands as a haven for the large moths that live there. Thier dusty, dark colored wings give them great camouflage against the bark's rough edes. Cats can go there to practice catching them, and also to practice their agility skills, as the branches are lower to the ground and easier to jump to and fro from. Apprentices are also taught how to climb and descend from trees without falling.

Close to the outer borders of the Fernclan camp, there is a giant boulder that is covered with ivy and moss. Although these things are hard to tear through, this is the stone that most of the warriors from Fernclan sharpen thier claws on. There are deep gashes in the stone, and they make criss-cross patterns on the surface and through the planlife that takes residence there.

A large chasm creates a scar in the middle of the Fernclan territory. There is only one way across it, and to the prey beyond...the Vine Bridge. A precarious way to get across the chasm, most cats avoid it, and it is only used in dire situations. Since it is already difficult enough to get across it in one piece, it is even more difficult to cross with prey in one's mouth.

This mine was left deserted by Twolegs many many moons ago. There are many underground tunnels that are filled with mice and other small prey. However, there are also rats, so going down into the mine shafts sometimes is risky if cats are not in groups. Cats can get from place to place in the mine by riding in a tiny monster, which is actually a small cart fixed to an old rusty track. At first the cats were wary to get inside the 'monster' but over time they realized that it could effectively transport them to deeper parts of the mine without having to deal with rats.
