Icystrike patroled the borders alone. She stoped at the rageclan border each time she went by it. She stoped by it for the second time, but she saw two cats. She climbed a tree to see who it was. She then felt another jolt, from the kits moving in her stomach. She sat down on a stable branch, completly forgeting about the two cats. She wasen't on the rageclan border, so she was safe.

A gray pelted she-cat and a mixed pelted tom stepped out, NIghtsplasha nd Sootpelt. Nightsplash wasnt aloud out without an escort and Sootpelt wasnt aloud out without a warrior so technically they were in the clear. "Icystrike?" Nightsplash got to the dge of the border and looked up in the tree.

Icystrike froze, she reconized that voice."Nightsplash!?" She jumped from the tree down to the ground. It was nightsplash and sootpelt."Nightsplash, I'm so happy to see you. I missed you." Icystrike steped up to him and smiled. She couldn't wait to tell him she was going to have kits.

Sootpelt smiled, she was much older than these too and she remembered when her and Sablemask became mates. Her ears twitched, Icystrike was going to have kits, she could tell just by looking at the she-cat. Nightsplash nuzzled Icystrike "Technically, Im not going against Darkstar's orders by coming out here, but, I also have an apprentice to train now"

Nightsplash froze in shock. "How long?" He asked. Sootpelt looked at him, just barely supressing a laugh at his sudden shock.

"I found out the same day sootpelt told me about your punishment. I only have a 1 week until the kit's come. Only one cat knows in my clan, my friend swanwing. Oh, did a cat named shadowblaze join rageclan?" Icystrike smiled a nervous smiled.

Thats when Sootpelt stepped forward "You know Shadowblaze?" Sootpelt had trained with the tom when they were apprentices and now hed come back to join rageclan.

Nightsplash was still speechless. "Swanwing....um...." Sootpelt tried to remember if she knew Swanwing "I think Shadowblaze mentioned her as an apprentice but he sure isnt dead"

"Yeah she told me that they ran away together when he was apprentice, but the rest not my place to tell. Sootpelt when will nightsplash start talking? " She smiled and the took her claws out. She lightly touched one of his paws with her claws.

A jolt of pain shot up his arm "Ow!" He yelped, pulling his paw to his chest. "That hurt" Nightsplash licked his paw where she poked him with her claw. "Im guessing you've got that covered" Sootpelt laughed.

Icystrike smiled."Well, we are going to have to think of names because the sad thing is your not going to be there. It's also going to be hard for me because i have a aprentice that i have to train to become a warrior. My clan doesn't even know i have a mate or that im going to have kit's. I'am going to have to tell them that in going to have kits, but i don't have to tell who the father." Icystrike was stressed and confused.

"But what if one of the kits came to rageclan? Darkstar is mean, but he wouldn't reject a kit. I could tell him I found the little one in the forest while hunting or something" Nightsplash seemed just as worried as her, and even if one kit did come to rageclan, he'd have to find a another queen to be its foster mother.

Icystrike wasen't sure about it. "I geuss, it depends on how many i have, but they arent's going to let me go outside of the camp with a newborn kit. If i don't have the kit's inside of the camp, there is more of a chance of me...."Icystrike never throught about it, now she was really scared.
