Scorchpaw flicked an ear at hearing her name and looked up. No emotion crossed her face or showed in her eyes, but inside she felt blood-lust, wanting to sink her fangs into a foxes fur. The femme stood and trotted over to Arcanestar, ready to follow to patrol.

Arcanestar looked down at Scorchpaw as she approached. "I know you're a good fighter, but be careful." He meowed. "You are too important to our clan for us to lose you in a fight with foxes. Just make sure you keep a level head. And most of all, good luck." Then he looked away from the apprentice and nodded to the whole patrol, signalling for Southgust to lead them away.

"I don't need luck." Scorchpaw relpied, her voice level and blue orbs staring at the camp entrance. She sunk ivory claws into the peaty ground, anticipating the fight ahead.

Southgust nodded and flicked his tail signaling for the patrol to follow. "Okay, I will take Scorchpaw, and Beechpaw and we will go around and try to get the foxes from the back. Windlistener you take Westwind, Kestrelpaw, and Craterpaw, and go straigh ahead. Don't attack until you hear me call out a signal." He said not wanting to mess this up.
Westwind's eyes narrowed at his brother being chosen to lead the patrol. Then his brother didn't even have him lead the mini patrol. Hissing he didn't say anything as they walked.

Scorchpaw smiled. Surprise was always her best asset in battle.

Beechpaw hadn't been training long, but he was a good fighter, and speed was his advantage.
Hawkfrost wanted to go with the patrol, but he was afraud. At his old home, he wasn't chosen often for border patrols because if they got into a fight, a bloodlust starts and he can't control it. He didn't want to endanger his sister or him, so he decide to stay. "I'd rather stay." His eyes showed that he wanted to rip the foxes, but they also showed an unknown fear.
