Oceanwave, who was already almost to camp by now, rounded on her son with a furious snarl. "It IS our business, Cloudpelt. The fact is, she lied to us. She's our leader, we should be able to trust her decisions and we depend on her to lead us through thick and thin. She let us down, choosing a mate from another Clan, having his kits, and then having the nerve to use Infinitystrike's affection for her, in order to hide her own betrayal. No LOYAL FernClan warrior would do something like that. Would YOU want to follow a leader who lies to you?" She spat in rage and disgust, passionately defending her own rock hard faith in the Warrior Code.
Not waiting for an answer, she picked up her catch again, and bounded off into the camp to tell the rest of the Clan the truth.
[OOC: Oceanwave's LAST post in this thread. If Cloudpelt wants to talk more to her, go to the thread in FernClan's Camp.]

Silentshadow watched Echostar. As always, she was silent as the grave. She understood the pain both she-cats were going through, but she now knew she could not trust her clan leader anymore. She flicked her tail, completely useless now without Cloudpelt here to translate what she wanted to say aloud. She continued to try asking her leader who the real father was, but it was no use. No one but Cloudpelt seemed to understand her, and her strange sign language. The Black she-cat sighed inwardly, picked up her rabbit and picked her way along the path that Cloudpelt and her mother had taken, making her way back to camp. Of all the cats that had gone on the patrol, only Silentshadow seemed to remain calm.
