Silk raven fur whipped by as the white rodent ran, the black blur close on it's tail. When the white disappeared into a hole, the feline turned her head around in bewilderment, and because of the loss of concentration, she tripped over her own paws, and did several somersaults, landing in a heap, dirt all mixed in her fur. Ravendance swore aloud, getting to her paws. The dirt and grass fell to the ground as she shook, trying to rid her fur of anything other than fur.
When she was relatively clean, she sighed, padding over to an open patch of dying grass. She sat down, her belly growling with hunger. With this drought, the water sources have been shrinking, and food has been getting scarce. Ravendance, who was already petite as it is, appeared to be even smaller, a two ribs already visible beneath the raven-colored pelt.
The scent of another cat drifted on the breeze, that playful and gentle wind ruffling her fur, dancing around the femme. Ravendance couldn't help but smile a little; it seemed as if DreamClan were trying to help keep depressing matters out of mind with the playful breeze. Ravendance parted her jaws to try and indentify who was near; she'd enjoy to spend some time with somebody. [/blockquote]

A tabby form emerged from the tall cattail fronds that were waving and rustling madly in the breeze. Usually-wet marshland that normally would be squishy underpaw was now as dry as any other grassy area in any other clan. Not a good sign, considering this was Fogclan. The large apprentice's white underbelly, which was normally brown from wading through filthy marsh mud, was dazzling now that it was clean. Seeing as the water supply was low, the normal low fog that clung to the area was nowhere to be seen, and the feline that was usually so well camoflauged now stuck out like a sore thumb.
Fallenpaw spotted Ravendance, the female she'd seen at the gathering. She trotted forward and meowed a soft, "Hello" , twitching her whiskers in a friendly greeting. [/blockquote]
