[&&] the snow will hide my sorrow ;;
The air was as light and clear, soft as a feather, as a daintily framed she-cat ducked under a low-hanging branch and blinked gorgeous sapphire-hued eyes. Tiny echoes, whispers, yes, that was the word, murmured in her mind, but they were disorted and too blemished to be understood. Lethal sharp claws scored at the ice covered ground in frustration, once again in her mind going over her newest flirting strategy, but a memory roared at the femcat in the back of her mind. She pushed it away, impatient. "Oh, DreamClan," She murmured softly, her eyes shimmering beautifully, thus her name.
Oh, yes, her name was Shimmerlily, and she was usually IceClan's most flirtatious she-cat, but recently -- again! -- a dark sensation had overtook her. But these things were happening recently now, at uneven intervals.
She sighed her melodic sigh, her enchanting sky colored orbs scanning the snow and ice littered in front of her paws.
"Ach, Shimmerlily," She scolded herself, a faint smile playing on her perfect lips. "Don't be depressed. It's all you've been lately."
[&&] the heavens will grant my dreams ;;
No answer came from within the exquisite tabby's soul, and eventually Shimmerlily sighed and gave up, curling majestically, regally, against the base of the Frozen Willow.
Can't stop -- thinking about -- Lilywhisper ..... Shut up, Shimmerlily; please. Lilywhisper ....
It was oh-so-childish to have, like, a conscience lately, and her smile turned completely upsidedown. She groaned inwardly, the abyss of hopelessness was embracing her once more, trying to swallow her into the depths of the shadows, the pools of grief.
"Ugh," She murmured, half to herself, and the IceClan beauty straightened, glancing with concern at her snow-dappled pelt, now wet -- she didn't really mind that -- but it was bristling as if an enemy had crept up to her.
Maybe it IS an enemy cat. Shimmerlily thought, dismayed, starting pick herself up, casually, and was about to make a run for it.
No, no. The depressing, emotional prickles of the gazes' of cats frequently searched Shimmerlily's pelt now, anger was raw in their apparent illusion-like-but-so-real-seeming glare.
"I wonder if ..... there's another cat out there. Bruised, broken, like me." She stopped abruptly, and a loud giggle rose in her throat, and it was so melodic.
"Well, not exactly brused and broken. That's too serious. Just .... flirty, but at the same time ..... noble. Can those two be put together? Opposites attract, don't they?
"Don't they?"

And i hope this makes you happy now
A petite femme peered out at the surrounding landscape from a high branch on the Frozen Willow. Her sharp, unsheathed claws dug into the tree's bark, making tiny rivets in the already rough surface. The she-cat sighed, allowing a breath to escape from her muzzle.
That the flame we had is burning out
She closed her eyes for a moment, before opening them to stare out once again at the barren, ice covered territory. Her brown eyes blinked rapidly, as if fighting to stay open. The femme gave in, realizing that she probably should get some sleep. Swirlmark didn't want to travel the whole way back to camp just yet, so she settled down in a crook between two large branches. Her eyes slowly closed, and the femme descended into oblivion.
And i hope you like your pictures facing down
Next thing Swirlmark knew, there was some cat murmuring to herself just below the spot where she was perched in the ancient tree. She waited a few moments before opening her eyes, then squinted in response to the bright light refleting off of the ice and snow. The femme looked at the ground, seeing a fellow clanmate walking around. Hello there Shimmerlily. She murrowed, not yet moving from the spot she had been napping not long before.

[&&] i wait for you everyday ;;
"Oh!" Was the first mew of surprise that escaped Shimmerlily's maw; she recoiled at the voice that had suddenly sounded from above her. Embarrassment instantly colored her cheeks, she'd never been spied on while talking to herself!
Great. This was completely wonderful. "Oh," She repeated stupidly. "I'm sorry. Hello yourself, Swirlmark." The femcat flashed a daunting smile, however wobbly it was.
[&&] baby, you never stayed ;;
"You probably think I'm crazy, pacing out in the cold, mumbling to myself." Shimmerlily sighed bitterly. "It just helps me think, being alone sometimes."
This was even better, she thought sarcastically. Now Swirlmark would think that Shimmerlily didn't want to talk to her, which she definitely didn't .... How klutzy had she gotten lately? She was usually a superflirt, but now .... she was nothing?
"Not that I mean .... well, I don't mean that I don't want you here or anything," The she-cat amended quickly, turning a thousand shades of red as she spoke boldly. "Well .... um ..... yeah. So, may I ask, what are you doing out here?"
[&&] then one day you had to leave me ;;
Shimmerlily forced another halfhearted grin, cold winds blowing her fur softly against their shelter of skin and body. She wanted to run out of here and hide. Why could she flirt amiably with toms, but not conduct a simple conversation with a she-cat? It was mortifying.
[&&] lost, lost, lost ;;
