A light gray cat came stumbling into the camp, breathing ragged. She was so skinny her ribs seemed the only thing framing her chest. It was such a difference from the plump she-cat's usual looks. Her flanks heaved just with the effort to breathe.
She staggered forward, both back legs limping. Sleetfall crawled, hind knees the only thing touching the ground besides her front paws. How she had survived so long, for so many moons, was a mystery to her. Perhaps it had been her desire to find Jackalfang, her family, and her Clan.
She had to make it to the warrior's den...
She was feeling dizzy. Trying to right herself as she swayed, she took another step...and fell on her face.
"S-someone...! JACKALFANG!" she tried to scream, voice hoarse from not being used so long, but still loud nonetheless. And then the darkness closed in on her, swirling around her and claiming her like an endless ocean.

Upon this loud cry, the ears and fur of Hawkfeather stood up straight. The spotted tom whirled on his feet, dark chocolate eyes staring in shock at the limp body laying in the center of the clearing. Without a word, he ran to the grey she-cat, he could tell almost instantly that it was a she-cat by her scent, and looked down, examing the damage. She was thin, and you could see almost every rib stuck out, showing how much starvation she had dealt with. "Someone come and help me!" Hawkfeather's loud, deep voice called to no one in particular, he planned to somehow get her to the Medicine Cat's den, though he figured she wouldn't be too heavy, it would be better to have atleast three cats so they wouldn't cause her any more pain by moving her.

And then Aridsand streaked into the camp. He, too, had been presumed dead in the canyon incident, but along with his sister he had survived. On Aridsand's face was a guilty look and he quickly ran to Hawkfeather. He was far better off than his sister - his ribs did not protrude quite as much, though they were slightly visible.
"I'm sorry, Sleetfall," he whispered, as if he didn't see Hawkfeather, "I'm so, so sorry." How could he have abandoned her like that? Sure, he had assumed she was dead after he left her to go find help, but couldn't he have looked? It was just luck he had caught her scent and followed the trail here. Doubts ran through his head and he wailed softly before looking up at the other tom.
"Its me, Aridsand," he mewed quickly, hoping his scent wasn't disguised by the FernClan scent because of his secret refuge there. Narrowing his eyes, he added, "We have to get Sleetfall to someone who knows herbs and all that!"
Opalstone peeked out from the warrior's den before her shining eyes widened until they were at least twice their normal size. Her breath caught in her throat and then she ever so slowly, one snailpace step at a time, made her way to her brother and sister - the ones who were supposed to be dead.

Hawkfeather stared at him for a minute, watching the tom carefully. Then he nodded "I don't know where the medicine cat is, and I don't hardly know any herbs, but I can tell you this, she needs food, and quick." He may be social, but Hawkfeather had never really known these cats, like, actually known them, though he knew who the were.

Opalstone looked at Hawkfeather. She was coping well fairly quickly in the situation. "I was a medicine cat," she told him hastily.
"She needs some comfrey, from the looks of those legs - can you go fetch some? The large leafy plant with the tiny pink blossoms. Aridsand, try and wake her up; then we need to get some lavender in her in case she's in shock." Opalstone was starting to feel like she needed some lavender herself.
Aridsand nodded and tried to rouse his other sister, eyes full of sorrow. After a bit of poking and prodding she stirred, eyes fluttering open. "Nhhh?" she groaned.

It took Hawkfeather a mere 3 minutes to hunt down the comfrey, he even grabbed some lavender too, incase they happened to be out, and was back in camp as fast as possible. With a heaving chest, Hawkfeather layed the comfrey and lavender down infront of Opalstone taking a quick gulp of air. "There, I got some lavender too"

Opalstone dipped her head to Hawkfeather with a small smile. "Perfect, thank you much," she meowed, bending to pick up the lavender first. While it was in her mouth, she turned to look elsewhere so they couldn't see as if she heard something and gulped a tiny bite down for herself before placing the rest in front of Sleetfall. "Here, eat that," she told her, as she mashed the comfrey into a paste before applying it to Sleetfall's legs. "We need to tell someone she's back."

Hawkfeather sat and watched "Just say it, out loud, say that she's returned" This was the simplest way he knew to get the news out, and the easiest.
OOC: Sorry it's short, i'm not all to sure what to say
