Cloudpaw jumped up towards the warriors' den, breaking into the run once paws hit stone. She reached the den quickly and came to an arubt stop at the sound of the sleeping cats inside. She poked her head in, peering around in the darkness.
"Dragonwiiiiiiiiiing!" she called loudly, making Rosepaw, who slept in the warrior's den since she was a warrior's age, awake with a start. She glared at Cloudpaw as she began to call again, silencing the apprentice.
Cloudpaw quieted, entering the den. She picked her way through her Clanmates, but upon awakening yet another grumpy warrior, decided to give up on this idea. She turned on her heel and scurried out.
Once safely out of the den, she stopped, relieved to be out of there but frustrated as well. "Fox dung!" she cursed. She glanced over her shoulder nervously, hoping her father hadn't somehow heard her saying those words. She would get in big trouble. But after a moment of silence, she set off towards the apprentice den, satisfied that he wasn't going to storm out lecturing her on language.
The black-and-white she-cat that resembled her mother in more ways than one bounded into the apprentices' den cheerfully. "Up, up!" she called out to her siblings, "Rise and shine! Come on! Its time to wake up, its time to wake up, its time to wake up in the morning! Its time to wake, its time to wake up, its time to start the day. Start the day, start the day, the Cloudpaw way!" On the last three sentences she took on a singing tone. She paused.
"Come on, you sleepy-heads! WAKE UP!"

Fatepaw rocked slightly in his sleep having already been awakened by his sister's yowl for her mentor. "Cloudpaw, you have to let others sleep." He said with a yawn and stood. It was already determined that he was most likely not going to get anymore sleep. Instead he decided that he would just try to keep Cloudpaw busy before she woke anyone else up.
"Why not go on a hunt with me?" He asked, thinking of a distraction to keep her mind busy.

"But I want ALL of us to go hunting!" Cloudpaw whined, pawing at the ground. She crouched down, rear end poking into the air, wiggling away. With a cry of sheer exhiliration Cloudpaw bounded deeper into the den, trodding on many apprentice's paws on the way. She took a flying leap and landed square on Tailpaw's back, rolling off and prodding her sister with a paw. Without waiting for a response she shot off like a rocket, streaking towards Shadowpaw's unmoving form and barreling right into him, sending both of them rolling. Not a second went by before Cloudpaw was up again, sprinting out of the den and into the territory before any of her siblings could catch up. She knew they, especially Tailpaw and Shadowpaw, would be VERY agitated. But this didn't dampen Cloudpaw's mood at all, no sirree.

A groan of impatience and fatigue escpaed from Tailpaw's maw as the feline awoke, glaring at Cloudpaw. 'Why not let us rest in peace and go hunting on your own?' The black and reddish cat muttered, heaving herself to her paws. Ops flicked between Fatepaw and Cloudpaw momentarily before Tailpaw spoke again. 'Did you ask our mentors if we could go out? Because I'm sure they, and Stormwing, wouldn't like us to just wander off on our own.' Tail flicked upwards, straight into the air, as Tailpaw raised her chin skywards, commanding that Cloudpaw not speak of what the black-red feline was sure she would say. 'Yeah, I know we're apprentices, but we're no more than that. We can't just leave without our mentors just yet.'

Cloudpaw paused in her antics, trotting back closer to her sister and brother. She glared at Tailpaw. "Dad's so overprotective. Come ON, lets GO! I tried to wake up Dragonwing but he wouldn't wake. Come on, PLEASE?" she begged. She prodded Tailpaw and jumped back, lowering herself into the playful stance she often resumed. Her rump wiggling in happiness, she jumped and tackled Tailpaw to the ground.

ooc// Don't you mean Dragonheart?
bic// Tailpaw growled angrily as Cloudpaw leaped and tackled her to the ground. The femme shoved Cloudpaw away and staggered the her paws, low to the ground and ears pinned to the back of her skull. Green ops narrowed angrily at Cloudpaw as Tailpaw hissed, 'So what if Father is overprotective. You know as well as I do as to why, Cloudpaw.' Tail slapped at the air, expressing even more-so the feline's anger at her sister's flippant attitude. 'And I'm not going anywhere. Not after last time when you nearly died, falling from the Moth Tree. You were so lucky DreamClan had Father around at the same time.'

Cloudpaw narrowed her eyes at her sister. "I was trying to be playful, sisterly," she growled, "But go ahead, ignore that attempt. DreamClan is a tale to scare the kits. Now that I think back on my 'encounter' I realize it was not real." She unsheathed her claws, raised her paw high in the air and brought it down hard of her sister's cheek furiously. Fuming, Cloudpaw whirled and stormed away from the other two, calling after her swiftly, "I'll show you dangerous."

Oh how much Tailpaw wanted to shout at the top of her lungs until no trace of breath remained in them. Her sister's arrogant attitude was very unbecoming, in Tailpaw's point of view. So ignoramous was she. Tailpaw's eyes had widened, though, when Cloudpaw dismissed; no, cast aside DreamClan as being a tale for kits. 'How dare you!' Tailpaw managed to spit venomously just as Cloudpaw's claws raked across the black-red feline's face. Green ops sparked with fury towards Cloudpaw as the black and white femme stormed away in anger. Tailpaw's gaze flicked towards Fatepaw with anger and the yearning question for help to deal with their unruly sister. Sometimes, Tailpaw felt as though she were the most mature. Tail snapped in the sir towards Shadowpaw as Tailpaw meowed to Fatepaw, 'Wake him up, then help me get Cloudpaw back here so Father and Dragonheart can properly deal with her unruly attitude.' The black and reddish feline then shot out of the apprentice's den, following Cloudpaw's scent trail. It was tainted with the anger her sister had shown.

Shadowpaw stirred, his eyes opening slightly. He let them close again for a few seconds before he fully processed what he had seen. Tailpaw had just ran out of the den, obviously angry. The brown tabby tom looked over at his brother, Fatepaw. "What is she so upset about?" He asked, green eyes filled with confusion. Then he looked around the den, realizing his other sister wasn't there either. "It was something with Cloudpaw, wasn't it?"

Fatepaw had decided that the best thing to do in that situation would be to just keep quiet, and he did just that. His eyes gazed at the two with a look of sadness, understanding, and hidden knowledge. 'You can't force her to believe, she had to come to see Dreamclan on her own.' He thought as he watched Tailpaw leave. Sighing he turned to face Shadowpaw when he realized his brother was awake. "Yes, Cloudpaw has once again let her disbelief in Dreamclan be known." He said with a sigh as he moved towards his brother. "Let's follow them, this is something I think we can solve ourselves if you use our heads. No need to bring the warriors into this without a great cause." He said, as he ducked out of the den.

'Cloudpaw!' The cry of anguish echoed through the all-too silent forest. The black and red feline stared at her surroundings, having lost Cloudpaw's scent trail. Where the heck had she gone? Green gaze seered across the ferns, glowing with the anger Tailpaw felt inside that the ferns seemed ready to wilt before her gaze. Tail slapped at the air with frustration as Tailpaw again lifted her skull into the humid air, drawing in the oxygen in attempts to fine Cloudpaw's scent. Nothing.
