A creamy silver-white tabby stood solitary but with a grin etched onto her muzzle. Tail high and ears perked, she stared out at the expanse of territory she could see from where her paws where placed. It was fairly impressive, Silverstrike had to admit.
With a giddiness flaring in her chest she took off in great leaps and bounds. She had to get out that pent-up emotion some way, didn't she? Twisting and turning and jumping in graceful circles on the rockface, she paused a moment to stare again at the breathtaking view. The sun was close to setting.
Smiling to herself, the she-cat looked at the ground and then bunched her muscles to start the climb back down. One of her paws shot out from under her with a speed unlike anything she had experienced. Suddenly she was aware of the sensation of all of her limbs leaving the ground.
At first there was a heartbeat of confusion; gradually the gears clicked in her head. She had slipped, the rock had crumbled - whatever the cause, she came to the conclusion: she was falling to imminent peril. She couldn't even find the heart to call for help...

On a ridge below, Wildspirit and her sister Riverstripe were enjoying their new freedom as Warriors. The silver striped tabby femme with deep blue eyes carried a plump rabbit in her jaws, enjoying the tantalizing smells that permeated from it. Wildspirit trotted along ahead like she always did, the leader of the pair. The silver tabby femme looked much like her older sister, however with a distinctive long coat and striking hazel eyes. "Let's climb to the top of that mountain there!" Wildspirit suggested sporatically. Riverstripe gave her a look, her mouth full of rabbit. She laid down her prey, knowing it wouldn't be long before her crazy sister suggested they do something extreme with their new freedom. "Alright, but let's take this back to camp first. This rabbit will feed three or four cats," the femme beamed over her accomplishment. "Awh, can't you just bury it and come back for it later?" Wildspirit whined. Though she behaved like an apprentice, the femme was certainly Warrior worthy. She had the strength of a tom cat twice her size, and the wit of an elder. But common sense, not so much.... "Oh alright..."Riverstripe rolled her eyes and took her kill over beneath a distinctive pine, beginning to dig. Wildspirit in the mean time, trotted off to the base of the mountain, gazing up excitedly at the though of climbing to it's peak and seeing the extraordinary view. Her eyes widened as she gazed. Something, no someone was falling! The body of another cat quickly became recognizable. Wildspirit thought fast, laying on the ground as flat as she could, directly below her falling clanmate preparing for the blow. It probably wasn't the best idea, but at least landing on a cat was better than landing on the hard stony earth...

Silverstrike's eyes widened as she noticed a form slinking its way to stand directly under her. She was going to be crushed! It took a splitsecond for the silver she-cat the realize that might be the intention. Growling softly, she twisted herself around until her feet came first and then tried to focus on moving away from her Clanmate before she hit --
WHAM!
Silverstrike realized she must have blacked out momentarily as she came to on the ground. She had landed at least halfway away from Wildspirit, but.. her paws had still connected! She hoped to DreamClan she hadn't killed anyone. The she-cat tried to call to the victim of her fall and found she couldn't. Her paws worked furiously to move, except that they didn't. She couldn't move them! Gasping for breath, she felt confusion wash over her.

xx.//I try to take off my head sometimes.]] Wildspirit tried to relax her muscles as much as possible, as to not injure herself further, or the falling cat. As the cat neared the ground, she distinguished which of her Clanmates was falling via scent. Silverstrike!
Riverstripe kicked the last bit of dirt over her rabbit, glancing uneasily at the pile of dirt, a bit discouraged that the dirt would mask the juicy fresh scent when she brought it back to the camp. She looked around for her sister, but she'd vanished. Not unlike Wildspirit, so she wasn't too worried. "Wildspirit?" she called out. "Wildspirit?" The she-cat instantly spotted Wildspirit upon glancing over to the mountain that they were later to climb. She was standing over another cat, whom she quickly recognized as Silverstrike.
Wildspirit had managed to bring herself to her paws, worried only for Silverstrike, since she'd not landed completely atop her. Her sides ached with pain...she figured the impact of Silverstrike's body had probably broken a few of her own ribs, but she knew that they would have to heal by themselves. "Silverstripe?!" she nudged the she-cat with her paw, her hazel eyes clouded with worry.

Silverstrike inhaled as deeply as she could and then exhaled just as intensely. There was a growing moisture around her, probably blood. The only thing she wondered was whose it was. Hopefully, hers, although it was a sad thing to hope for.
Fighting to stay conscious, she tried to kick her hind leg. Nothing. She did not feel the familiar flex of muscles, only excrutiating pain. But at least the pain told her she was not paralyzed. She shifted her front paw a little and was relieved to find it worked, although it felt twisted a bit. A few seconds passed before she realized Wildspirit had tried to get her attention.
She searched calmly around her for the she-cat. Figuring out where her scent came from, she craned her neck to peer at the bit of her Clanmate she could see. Her calm state faded slowly as she saw drops of blood on the ground. Panic won over. "I.. I..," she mumbled softly, but hopefully loud enough to be heard, "I can't.. move my..." She trailed off as if the effort of speaking took a lot from her.

Riverstripe sprinted to the side of her sister Wildspirit. Her side was caved in awkwardly on the right flank. "Are you alright?!" Wildspirit nodded, "Yes, but Silverstride, she needs a medicine cat. We have to take her back to camp! " The short haired silver femme nodded in agreement. Being close friends with the medicine cat apprentice, Riverstripe knew that poppy seeds would help to ease pain and hopefully the shock of the fall. "Silverstride?" she questioned hoping the femme would be able to respond.

Silverstrike tried to nod and then gave up halfway through. Instead she focused on the one thing that didn't hurt as much as the rest of her, which was her forelegs. She gave them another kick as if to signify that she had heard.
DreamClan help me.., came the frantic thoughts of the tabby as she squeezed her eyes shut. But as soon as she had done so she felt her consciousness slipping. Forcing them open again she stared blankly ahead of her, head once again lying back on the rough earth. "M-med..icine... c..?," she echoed finally, as if it finally sunk in. So she was hurt. Hmm, she pondered this.
